I'm one of millions of ordinary American citizens who try to make a positive difference each day in whatever they do. Like millions out there I didn't give proper attention to decades of changes that were steadily destroying our nation on multiple fronts. ...Government, industries, education, churches, and multiple forms of media. I was always focused on providing for my family and the business challenges of that moment, with only an occasional timeout to pay attention to Presidential elections.

My political awakening and internal discomfort started to ramp up in the 1990's. It grew steadily until late 2007 when I decided to stop what I had been doing; and transform the draft book outline I'd created in 2000 into reality.

The book is the world as I see it. It represents a first step in this ordinary citizen's commitment to help others find and return true right leadership to their lives and to our government at all levels at this most critical period for our republic.

Your searches will confirm I have neither a famous nor infamous family lineage, nor inherited or married wealth to open doors. I left work I knew and "enlisted" to fight this battle for our national survival in early 2008, armed only with 60 plus years of life experiences as outlined below.

I was raised on a small Iowa farm and, like millions out there, started actions in high school to work and borrow my way to a college engineering degree. From graduation in 1966 through 95 I fulfilled more than thirty different roles in multiple business divisions of a leading U.S. company.

The period 2000-07 was spent as part of consulting teams that enabled client companies to significantly improve employee safety. Each role in my career provided direct or indirect responsibility, accountability and stewardship for fellow employees, products, plans, budgets, assets and profits. Each role provided opportunities to create order out of the surrounding chaos.  

That career provided opportunities to serve under many "right leaders" and be exposed to and consider their version of "common sense". It gave me the privilege of working in various capacities with many teams in pursuit of some aspect of excellence.

I don't purport to be a political pundit or a poster person for excellence throughout my life. Nor do I aspire to any future political office, or to become the center of some media universe. The efforts to get this book in print were for the primary purpose of stirring the inner workings of as many lawful, legal fellow citizens as possible; to enable them to make more thoughtful, informed, principled decisions in all future elections at all levels. And I obviously hope to clear an after tax dollar or two on the journey to redistribute...as I see fit!

I'm confident that this specific effort is part of God's purpose for my life; and that all who read this will put have a stronger sense of what they believe in the critical arenas in our society and daily life, and why.

I hope this work has lasting value and makes a positive difference in the lives of millions of Americans in my remaining time and for many decades beyond. In whatever remaining time I'm given, I have faith that one or more or our current critical issues will become the primary focus for active work; for God, Country, Family, Community, and Self.

I look forward to finding and working with those of you out there who agree on correct direction, principles, and most critical needs. Life has taught me that if we're aligned at that level, we can and will work out the details, and enjoy the journey!
